I am just a few days short of 25 weeks pregnant and not sure if getting acrylic nails is allowed. I plan on going this coming Thursday to get my nails done but was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this. If no one knows Ill be calling my Doctor. I appreciate any help. there is nothing to show that it is actually harmful in any way, unless the salon that you go to is not using hygenic sterile tools, however, a lot of salons dont like to put nails on pregnant women, for the fumes, and the fact that it can be more painful for pregnant women, because that is when we are more sensitized.Wearing Acrylic Nails?
It's safe. I wore them throughout most of my pregnancy. I'm 38 weeks now and just took them off last week because i know i will have him any minute.
