Acrylic paint and clothes?

so i splattered acrylic paint all over my shirt and i was wondering how do i avoid it getting washed out when i go to wash the shirt?

i WANT the paint to stay there so what should i do to keep the paint on the shirt?Acrylic paint and clothes?
Acrylic paint tends to stay on clothes. The design won't be as durable as if it were screen-printed on, but it will last for a little bit.

Tip1: HAND WASH!!!!!!!!! Use lukewarm water (unless the original garment calls for a specific type) and a light (READ LIGHT!) amount of detergent. Try not to do anything to get the shirt too dirty, the less you have to wash it, the better.

You will probably have to re-apply the paint over time though.

What I do is I outline my design in a permanent marker, then use paint. When the paint wears off (as most will do, eventually) I can still see my original design, and just re-paint. For an even better effect, invest in some fabric paint. It's a little more expensive, but it will last a LOT longer. You can find fabric paint at most super-stores (thought it won't be a good selection) and at any craft or sewing store.
