Acrylic Nails?

Are plane acrylic tips clear or do they look like french ?Acrylic Nails?
It really depends on what type of acrylic solution the salon or stylist uses. if you want the natural look the stylist can buff them down and put a clear coat on then to look ';natural';. but to get the actual French look they polish the ends white.Acrylic Nails?
They're not white like French tips. They aren't clear either though. There are clear tips that you can get though. If you remember the nails everyone was wearing before French tips got popular, they're acrylic.

They are creamed colors but the manicurist paints them.
They are clear and really see through...they don't look very good.





I don't like the look of french nails because I think they just look to fake. So when I get my acrylic tips done I ask them do keep them short or ';active lenght and to give me an ';American'; manicure. American sort of looks like the french, but the white is not so harsh. I also ask them to file the nails round rather than square. (not pointy...just a little rounder on the edges).





Everyone always thinks they are my actual nails and I get lots of compliments on them!
They're kind of a milky white. If you want French tips they'll paint the tips of the nails white and the rest pink. I prefer gel nails, they're stronger and last longer.
