Acrylic nails while pregnant?

is it ok to have acrylic nails done while pregnant i had mine done when i was 8 weeks pregnant but i didnt know that i was pregnant at that time .i let them gradually grow out b ut now im 22 weeks was thinking of gettng them done againAcrylic nails while pregnant?
Yes, it is ok. Try and go in the morning, when they aren't busy so you can spend as little time around the fumes as possible.





If possible, sit near an open door, or if that isn't possible, maybe take a few breaks for some fresh air while you are there.





As long as you aren't like, living in the nail salon you should be fine.

I went to a nail salon when i was pregnant and they advised me against it. So i ended up getting a french manicure.
I actualy asked my doctor about this when I was pregnant w/ my first. He said its fine to do just make sure the place is clean and profesional and good ventelation .
I don't think they are safe while you are pregnant, just to be on the safe side.
Yes! I did alot of research during my pregnancy, because I was so paranoid that I would do something wrong! Turns out, doing your nails (acrylic or plain manicures) is just fine. Thank goodness!
No harm done. But if you go have them filled ask for a mask because the fumes can be harmful,although I don't think there is any proof to show this but it seems right.I had my nails done in my 4th month of pregnancy but wore a mask they will give you one at the salon.

What getting your nails done got to do with you being pregnant. Their is no harm in getting your nails done while your pregnant, i knew a lot of women who got their nails done while they were pregnant and there babies came out just fine.
yea u can do it there is no harm.
usually the ladies who put the nails on have masks over their noses %26amp; mouths. not a good sign. %26amp; as per a good friend who works in the industry, many salons are using illegal, harmful substances in re-labelled bottles. you may want to skip it to be on the safe side.
Nothing wrong with acrylic nails, just be sure you go to a good salon. You don't want any fungus or bacteria getting on your nails.
there's no problem with that. I got trough out my pregnancy and last time I got them was for my baby shower
