Acrylic or oil paint?

I'm not an expert painter, but I am attempting to paint some animals on an old fashioned trunk that I am refinishing. The question is whether I should use acrylic or oil paint to do it?Acrylic or oil paint?

i would use acrylic. I personally prefer it over oils. it dries quick, no fuss, and is easier to work with.
Acrylic. It is fast drying, but you will need to varnish it so it stays put.
